We have new spring merchandise arriving daily, so please stop by and say hello when you get out to the beach.
As of now, Sea and Sand Festival is this weekend, so Center Street will be closed off and we’ll see you out here Saturday.
Surf at the Washout, pretty small although a longboard line could be found knee high and clean peelers.
Winds have finally backed off SW 5-10mph today
We have a low tide at 10:45a.m. high tide at 4:48 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is 3.3 ft at 5 seconds from the S.
Surf again about knee high or so enough to get the logs wet for a sesh. Area of disturbance moves offshore later today shouldn’t give us much surf and this trend continues into Sunday. As the work week begins look for NE wind-swell to begin to slowly build as two high pressures set well out in the Atlantic this should generate some trade—wind-swell for us through next week. Mid-week winds should veer more ESE and swell should better reach our coast. Look for thigh-belly high surf with warm air temps. Wont be anything epic but will be plenty of fun on the back end of our upcoming work week. WAX EM UP!
Water temp is still around 52*, so boots/gloves and a 4/3 suit are still in order. It should start warming up in the coming weeks.
It’s 58* and cloudy. Look for mostly cloudy skies and a high of 65 with rain moving in later*.
Sunrise was 6:50 a.m. Sunset 6:15 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
