Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, July 10th at 7 a.m.
Surf at the Washout knee-waist high looks pretty decent this morning worth a go. Winds aren’t to bad early. Come cool since its heat advisory day #15 Plus some dude is giving free Cold Brew at the Shout!
Winds are West at 10 mph becoming SW late morning and picking up 15-25mph
We have a low tide at 10:29 A.m. and a high to be around 4:56 P.M.
Edisto Buoy is 2.0 at 8 seconds from the SE
High pressure sitting well offshore the low country generating a small trade-swell and localized SW wind-swell. This should trend into the early weekend. We then have an approaching front coming in Sunday that looks to stall over our marine area. Models suggesting a weak low developing near our shoreline where NE winds can be expected to crank a bit and some building NE wind-swell can develop.
It’s a humid 83* with sunshine this morning and a high of 89* and a heat index close to 98* at the beach. It’s much hotter in town.
Water temperature It’s around 84*.
Sunrise is at 6:19 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:31 p.m.
