Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, Sep 15th at 8:45 a.m.

clean

Time of Report: 9:00 am
Wave Forecast: ankle to knee
Traffic: not bad
Parking: some
Dangers: none

We’ve got neoprene on the floor including spring-suits and full suits, so come get ready for some cooler water temperatures.

Surf is ankle to knee high, incoming tide may help bring the easterly swell we have at the buoy in.

Winds are NNE 10-15mph surf is overall pretty clean.

We have a low tide at report time, High tide will be at 2:44 p.m. Next low tide is 10:00 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is showing 4.6ft at 10 sec from the E. Most of the swell is passing us headed south to Florida

High Angled NE swell in the water due to a moderate low sitting to our NE off Hatteras. The brunt of this energy is headed past us towards Florida. Not a whole lot on the forecast during our work week in terms of highlighted surf, ankle-knee-thigh high surf depending on tides high angled ENE swell. Long range things get interesting a healthy low is developing in the eastern Atlantic moving our general direction. Further strengthening is forecasted as it closes in on our swell window late weekend of this week. We will keep you updated as this is our next hope for a significant wave maker for us here in Folly. Cheers

Our friends at NOAA forecast: “High pressure will prevail through the weekend.”

Water temperature is around 80*.

It is 72* this morning and sunny  Look for a high of 80* at the beach today with a mix of sun and clouds.

Sunrise was 7:01 a.m., Sunset 7:29 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
