Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, March 15th at 8:30 a.m.

Semi clean

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: waist high
Traffic: not to bad
Parking: Some
Dangers: Storms moving in later

Surf is Knee to thigh+ look for winds to come up onshore later today and surf should build a little more.

NNE winds turning ESE later today 10-15mph

We have a low tide at 11:27 a.m.  high tide at 5:22 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is 2.6 ft at 6 seconds from the SE.

Small SE swell showing this morning enough for a longboard. Surf should begin to gradually build later today into tomorrow where a strong cold front approaches the low country. This will produce a sizeable southerly swell for us here in Folly with strong southerly winds. Timing could be a slight issue at the moment as the front looks to push through late Monday where winds go offshore right around sunset.  Hopefully we have a small leftover on Tuesday.

water temp is still around 60*

It’s 65* and cloudy. Look for a high of 69* with heavy rain showers moving in from the ocean today.

Sunrise was 7:37 a.m. Sunset 7:25 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
