The shop floor is stocked up and ready for you to grab all your summer essentials. Come by and see us!
Surf at the Washout looking pretty fun, waist+ surf its pretty clean early incoming tide should help late morning, hope the winds stay light. Go get some
Winds are light SW at the moment, forecasted to pick up 10-15mph SW
Low tide was at 8:45am followed by high tide at 2:54pm and another low tide at 8:49pm.
The Edisto Buoy is currently reading 5.2 ft in a short period swell at 7 seconds out of the southeast.
Surfs picked back up a bit, we have a stalled front over our marine area winds blew pretty good onshore last night and the surf woke back up. Surf should then back off slightly to start our work week although I believe we should have some rideable surf for the upcoming week. Strong high pressure sits way offshore with a lot of unsettled weather off the SE coast and western Caribbean. Late work week models showing a little low forming. Knee-waist high surf looks likely most of the week with varying winds.
The water temperature is around 71* and feels great!
Our friends at NOAA say “expect showers and thunderstorms over the next couple days ahead of an approaching cold front. The front will potentially linger nearby before shifting offshore early next week as high pressure begins to build in again from the west.”
It’s currently 69* and showers on the island. Sun with showers for the day!. High of mid 70s
Sunrise was at 6:31am and the sunset will be at 8:03pm
Get out and do something fun on this beautiful day folks! Keeps the vibes high and the stoke pure!!! Yewwww!!
Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
Cheers!!
