Good morning! This is Luke Da KOOK with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Thursday, September 24 at Sunrise.

It got Chilly out but feels great!

We have a large stock of wetsuit jackets here at the shop, and with a north-east wind swell moving in for mid-week, you’ll want to cut the wind.

Surf is showing waist to chest high on this mornings high tide. Lots of drift and side-offshore winds on it. Overall looks fun.

Wind is from the north/north-east at 15-25mph

Winds will become NE 10-15mph keeping the temps cool near the coast.

We just came off a high tide at report time. have a low tide at 12:48 p.m. .  and another high tide at 7:10 p.m. to close the day out.

Edisto Bouy 8.2 feet at 9 seconds from the ENE.

Surf has built a bit in ENE wind-swell, winds are honkin at the beaches this morning lots of drift. We have a low well to our north gaining strength and headed towards New England that’s whats causing these blustery winds. Surf should begin to tapper off a bit as we move towards the weekend. High pressure dominates over us and classic fall Charleston weather looks to be in the cards with small surf.

Its 75 and overcast today winds are keeping it even cooler at the beaches.

Sunrise is 7:06 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:24 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
