Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, April 28th at 6:45 a.m.

choppy

Time of Report: 6:45
Wave Forecast: knee-thigh
Traffic: not bad
Parking: yes some
Dangers: None

New Quiet Flight boards arrived last week. We have some good-looking logs, high-performance longboards and mid-lengths in stock. Come check them out.

Surf at Folly Pier is knee to maybe thigh high little wind on it from the ENE 10mph or so. Overall not looking to hot.

We have high tide near sunrise time. Low tide at 12:33 p.m.  We have a high tide at 6:54 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.6 ft at 7 seconds from the ENE.

High pressure still sits over our marine area today keeping the surf dismal. A brief SSW blow happens tomorrow with an approaching cold front could get the surf to wake up a little bit nothing to write home about thigh high wind-swell. Surf then stays down into the late work week. Keeping an eye over the weekend for a little swell that could generate with a lot of unsettled weather over the SE region we will keep you in the loop but its got my attention for a potential wave maker finally.

Our friends at NOAA predict, “High pressure will build in from the north today, bringing gusty winds and higher seas”. Thus, tons of wind m choppy ocean for the future.

It’s 58* and cloudy. Look for a high of 66*

Water temp is around 67*. Spring suits or bareback

Sunrise is at 6:37 a.m., and sunset is at 7:58 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
