Good morning! This is Luke Da KOOK with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, September 30th at 8 am.

Surfs about knee high or so. Winds are light onshore small log conditions available. Surf looks to be on the way on our long-range.

We have a large stock of wetsuit jackets here at the shop, and with a north-east wind swell moving in for mid-week, you’ll want to cut the wind.

Wind is from the east at 5-10mph

We have a high tide at 11 a.m. a low tide following at 5:38 p.m. .

Edisto Bouy 1.3 feet at 9 seconds from the E.

Surf about knee high today with high pressure currently dominating over our marine area. This should trend into the later weekend expecting knee high surf or so. Things get pretty interesting early next week. Moisture builds up and looks to get pretty organized in the NE Gulf and Carolina coastline. Models currently suggesting a healthy low developing just offshore of us here in the low-country. Homegrown lows are tricky to forecast as any little change can completely alter what to expect. For now expect increasing ESE to NE winds to increase early next week building surf should happen pretty quickly. Im expecting chest+ surf to hit our shores. Winds could be tricky stay tuned as we get more data through the week.

Its 82 and sunny today winds are keeping it even cooler at the beaches.

Sunrise is 7:10 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
