Good morning! This is Luke Da KOOK with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecasts for Wednesday, October 7th at 8:00 am.
Surf at the pier is waist+ some drift to it but looks like some fun semi-clean nuggets coming in.
Winds are northerly this morning but should come more NE later 10-20mph
have a low tide at noon. high tide at 6:22 p.m.
Edisto Bouy 7.2 feet at 7 seconds from the E.
Surfs looking sorta fun this morning. Waist+ surf is on offer today with not ideal conditions with some NNE winds and drift. Surf should tapper off slightly into tomorrow. Friday we begin to focus on the Gulf where it looks like a low grade hurricane forms. High pressure to our north will interact with this system. Onshore flow from the SSE should ramp up later Friday into your Saturday. Strong onshore winds and storms should be in the cards. Hopefully we get a little cleanup late weekend. Weve got surf in the forecast just be patient for good windows by watching the flags and winds.
Its 79 and sunny today winds are keeping it even cooler at the beaches.
