Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop Surf report for Saturday, August 29 at at 8:00 a.m.
The surf at the Pier is knee to thigh high winds are on it a bit from the east. Overall the most surf we have had over the last few days. Longboard surf is out there

Winds are onshore today from the SE 10-15mph with higher gust around some storm cells.
Tide high this morning at 9:12 a.m and it’ll be low at 3:25 p.m. with an incoming tide the remainder of the day.
Edisto Bouy data 1.6ft from the ESE at 8 seconds.
We have a stalled front working its way out of our Marine area today, light onshore flow has bumped the surf up a small notch knee to thigh high surf is out there with light onshore winds. Our extended forecast is tricky LOTS to watch but overall confidence still low. Firstly, Dolly is no longer with us as she fizzled out BUT her moisture hangs on and travels towards our marine area. Both CMC and ICON models show redevelopment in the SE coastline. The more reliable models EURO AND GFS show nothing else from Dolly happening. We will see. Secondly, Were beginning to see some rotation forming in the northern Gulf and the NHC has marked it as a potential spot to watch. We will keep a close eye on all of this and keep you all updated. Pray for surf.
It’s 84 with dark clouds moving onto the beach this morning. Look for thunderstorms today mixed between sun and a high of 85*.
Sunrise is 6:50 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:52 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
