Good morning, this is Luke Da Koook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, March 31 at 8:30am.

Clean. Choppy this afternoon.

Time of Report: 7:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: chest high
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Some.
Dangers: None.

*Fantasy surfer event El Salvador is coming up lock in your entry!

Our used board rack is looking full, and you know you need that new stick for days like today. The water is still pretty chilly, and we have plenty of 3/2 wetsuits and spring suits to keep you covered.

Surfs looking fun again this morning waist to chest high semi clean fun lines. Pretty crowded as expected but overall feels great to surf again.

Winds are light out of the south this morning, forecasted to become SSW 10-20mpg

High tide is coming up at 10:32 am with low tide at 4:19 pm

Edisto buoy is currently reading 6.2 ft at 10 seconds from the SE.

Trade swell has filled in nicely for Folly chest high sets are out there, little more wind it sounds like for later today. Trade swell lingers with some frontal SSW wind-swell mixing in for Tuesday. Tuesday AM could have some offshore winds to look out for with plenty of swell. High pressure then builds back over Bermuda and more trade-swell will come our way. Honestly, I really don’t see any slowing down in our long term forecast lots of days of surf ahead. Is this real life?

Our friends over at NOAA predict, “strong cold front Monday evening.”

The water temperature is around 58*.

It’s currently 61* with a high of about 72* Rain mixed with sunshine.

Sunrise was at 7:11am and sunset will be at 7:38pm.

Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
