Surf around Folly has slowed down some as expected, still waist high+ sets really hard to see through the fog this a.m..
Winds Are 5kt out of the SE and should stay low all day. surf is clean.
We have a high tide at 9:59 a.m., will have a low tide at 4:22 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 4.2 feet at 10 seconds in an ESE swell.
Our little run of fun is tapering off, although still plenty waist high nugs. Just doesn’t have the energy it had the past few days. We do have a fast moving cold front approaching our area tonight that could generate another quick SSE pulse of wind-swell our way with the front pushing through overnight we should have offshore winds tomorrow morning. Surf then should fizzle out pretty good into our weekend timeframe.
The water temperature has dropped to 55*.
It’s 58* and sunny with a little of Fog. Look for a high of 69* with more sun arriving.
Sunrise was at 7:15 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:17 p.m.
