Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, February 3 at 8:00 a.m.

Clean.

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Knee-to-thigh.
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Plenty
Dangers: Foggy

*Hoping Pipe event resumes today

Surf around Folly really hard to say with the fog but based on the buoy it should be about thigh high or so. Winds are light onshore.

Winds are light onshore and should remain light all day.

We have a high tide at 11:36 a.m. ,  low tide at 5:42 p.m.

Edisto Bouy is reading 3.8 feet at 8 seconds in ESE medium period swell.

Surf is about thigh high, with a little texture to it. Swell has begun to make that rotation more favorable ESE from yesterdays ENE so that should help it out. Again its hard to say cant see a thing this morning but the buoy is showing a little pulse. Small lingering weak trade swell is in the cards most of our work week. Southerly winds and trade swell should pick up slightly towards the end of the week. Nothing exciting by any means but should hopefully be enough to get wet.

The water temperature is around 46*. That’s 4/3, booties, hoods and gloves around these parts.

It is 52* with a high of 59* with thick fog.

Sunrise was at 7:17 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:50 p.m.

Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
