We have plenty of neoprene jackets and spring suits. Come see them so you can get in the surf this week. It’s supposed to get chilly.
Surf has picked up as expected from Hurricane Kirk way offshore waist to chest+ is on offer winds are offshore. Its PACKED butts to nuts out there.
Winds are light offshore forecasted to remain light from the NNE later today.
We have high tide at 11:13 a.m , low tide will be at 5:48 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 4.9 feet at 14 seconds in a long-period south-east swell.
Kirk swell in the water! Looks fun and very busy with the crowd. Should be fun surf all day today. Tomorrow there is a mild low forming over florida looking to move out into our swell window tomorrow. This should help the fading Kirk swell keep some surf in the water waist+ and that should hold into weds. Later weds we should start feeling/seeing some effects from hurricane Milton forecasted to become a major later today in the Gulf and cross over central florida and again enter our swell window. Swell should build quickly to head high+, and as Bates mentioned yesterday winds are going to be tricky looking like NNE-ENE winds will be ongoing throughout the event. Either way we will have substantial surf and pick your windows with better winds. I do think there will be moments of glory. Pray for Florida
It’s 72* and cloudy. Look for a high of 80* today with clouds and some sun peeking through the clouds.
Sunrise is at 7:15 a.m., Sunset 7:01 p.m.
