It’s a little chilly out there today so come stop by the shop to pick up some warmer gear as we get closer to winter.
Surf is thigh-belly high in drifty ENE wind-swell. Winds on it pretty good doesn’t look to great. Winds are supposed to start rotating more SW later today.
Winds are ENE 15-20mph at the moment again forecasted to swing around more SW later today.
Were coming off a high tide at report time, We have a low tide at Noon and a high tide at 6:30 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 6.6 feet at 8 seconds from the east.
Easterly wind-swell in the water sets up to waist+ although doesn’t look to appetizing as winds and drift are just making it a mess. We have unsettled weather over our area today these are actually the Remnants of former Rafael in the gulf. High pressure will move back in from here and surf will drop over the next few days. Meanwhile we have Tropical Depression 19 in the lower gulf to keep an eye on.
Water temp is 71*
It’s 59* and windy all day clouds with showers. Look for a high of 73*
Sunrise was at 6:48 a.m. and Sunset will be at 5:19 p.m.
