Jan 14th Pier

Good morning everyone. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. The waves at the pier this morning look to be very weak with little consistency and not a lot of organization either. A higher volume vessel would work the best as the waves seem to be in the shin-knee high range and far between sets. The West winds at 5-10kt seem to be keeping it clean and look pretty but the swell is lacking power for sure.

Come get those wetsuit needs before we are out and you are cold without any gear.

We are going into a low tide at 10:38 a.m. Tide is high at 4:35 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is showing 2.3 feet at 4 seconds from the SW.

Our friends over at NOAA predict a: “Strong cold front will cross the area tonight. Gusty west- northwest winds and building seas should develop in the wake of the cold front this evening through Thursday night”. So cross your fingers the waves gods send us some waves to catch soon!

Water temp is 53*, so booties and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.

It’s 49* and cloudy this morning. Look for a high of 55* and mostly overcast today.

Sunrise was 7:23 a.m. Sunset 5:36 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
