Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, January 26 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly this is ankle to knee high and weak.

Winds are west at 5-10 knots, and surf zone is clean as a result.

Winds continue west at 10 knots throughout the rest of the day.

Tide just started going out. Low tide will be at 2:55 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.9 ft. at 11 seconds in an east swell.

Surf has dropped considerably since yesterday only showing knee high sets for Folly. This trend looks to begin our work week at the moment expecting small knee high surf. Although a few smaller systems look to push out of the Gulf area late week. We will keep you in the loop as the week progresses and models become more aligned.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A disturbance will move through the area late tonight into early Monday, followed by a return of high pressure. Another weak disturbance should pass to the south midweek followed by a potentially more potent storm system for the region towards the end of the week.”

It’s 46* this morning lots of sunshine. Look for a high of 60* with sun in the forecast.

Water temperature has dropped back down to 54*. Bundle up.

Sunrise is at 7:18 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:44 p.m.
