Good Friday morning everyone. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, January 2, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. It is super small today. The waves seem super weak and not really breaking other than on shore. Even the higher volume vessels will have trouble today but could maybe find a little gem if you had to.

Come get those wetsuit needs before we are out and you are cold without any gear.

We are going into a low tide at 12:55 p.m. Tide is high at 7:03 p.m.  

The Edisto buoy is showing 4.9 ft. at 6 seconds in a short-period SSW wind swell.

Our friends over at NOAA predict a: “Low pressure will move through the region on Saturday, yielding widespread showers with thunderstorms throughout the day. Then, dry and quiet weather conditions prevail afterwards”. We surfers can hope that around all of the much needed rain coming that a wave or two will sneak in for some senders!

Water temp is 53*, so booties and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.

It’s 51* and overcast this morning. Look for a high of 60* and clouds today.
