Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, January 5, 2020.
All of our board-shorts and walk-shorts are marked off 50%. We also have almost all of our bikinis marked 50% off. Come check it out while the selection is still good.
Surf at Folly this morning running flat!
Winds are moderate out of the west and the surf zone is clean.
We are coming to low tide at 9:22 a.m , and high tide will follow at 3:26 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 5.9 ft. at 6 seconds in a NNW wind-swell blowing away from shore.
Surf goes flat Sunday into the work week as high pressure settles over our marine area. High pressure then builds well offshore and looks to produce a trade-swell for us later in the work week. We will keep you posted.
It’s cold 43* this morning. Look for a high of 57* with lots of sunshine.
Water temperature is 57*
Sunrise is at 7:22 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:25 p.m.
