Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, June 11 at 8:30 a.m.

Waves at The Pier are knee-to-thigh high and looking weak overall.

Winds are west at 10 mph, and surf zone is clean this morning.

Look for winds from the West early switching to light North-East throughout the afternoon hours.

Low tide is at 9:36 this morning. High tide will be at 4:04 this afternoon.

The Edisto buoy is reading 3.3 ft. at 6 seconds in a South wind-swell.

We have a small wave out there in the Knee high range this morning it is currently clean and enough to push the logs. We have a stalled front over our marine area today this pushes out mid-week and could push up a waist high wave mid-week. High pressure looks to return later in the work week keeping the surf down.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A front will stall over the area today, then low pressure willtrack along it tonight and Wednesday. Another front will sweep through Wednesday night, followed by drier high pressure into the weekend. As the high shifts east over the weekend, a more typical summertime pattern will return.”

It’s 77* and sunny this morning.   Look for some sun, with showers and thunderstorms on-and-off later today and a high of 82*.

Water temperature is around 82*.

Sunrise is at 6:10 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:27 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
