Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast foR Friday, June 14 at 7:30 a.m.

Waves at the Pier are knee-thigh barely enough to push the logs looking weak out there.

Winds are West at 10 mph making the surf zone clean early this morning.

Look for winds from the SW  throughout the afternoon hours in the 15 mph range.

Low tide is at 12:12 this morning. High tide will be at 6:50 this evening.

The Edisto buoy is reading 2.6 ft. at 6 seconds in a short period ESE windswell.

Hope everyone got wet yesterday because its back down today. Surf is currently Knee high give or take and clean early this Friday morning. Looking long-range high pressure has built back in keeping our surf Flat for the weekend and early next week. Mid-week for next week looks like we could get a new pulse of ESE swell as a surface through moves offshore we will keep you updated daily on that.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will build today, then prevail through early nextweek. An inland surface trough will develop by midweek and linger into late week.”

It’s 73* and mostly sunny this morning and a high of 82* a perfect beach day here at Folly.

Water temperature is around 82*.

Sunrise is at 6:10 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:27 p.m.
