Happy Fathers Day! Go grab the logs and catch a few with pops. We also just got in all our 4th of July gear to get you styled out for the holiday weekend!
Waves at the Washout are knee to thigh and looking fun for a longboard.
Winds are light this morning and the surf is glassy as a result this morning.
Look for winds to increase later out of the south 10 mph.
High was at 7:52 this morning. Low will be at 1:46 pm followed by another high at 8:27 this evening.
The Edisto buoy is reading 2.0 ft. at 6 seconds in a S swell.
Surf looks fun currently thigh high peelers and glass early. Conditions should become less favorable as the day progresses do to mid-day low tide and onshore winds. Looking long-range high pressure has built back in keeping our surf Flat for the weekend and early next week. Mid-week for next week looks like we could get a new pulse of ESE swell as a surface through moves offshore we will keep you updated daily on that.
NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through early next week. An inlandsurface trough will then develop and linger into late week.”
It’s 81* and mostly sunny this morning and a high of 86* a perfect beach day here at Folly.
Water temperature is around 82*.
Sunrise is at 6:10 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:27 p.m.
