Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Thursday, June 18th at 8:30 a.m. coming to you from 8th block East.
Surf at 8th street is knee to maybe thigh high. The waves look pretty weak overall with winds on it a bit from the SW at 10-15kts.
Winds are forecasted to be SW 15-20 kts today, with some higher recorded gusts.
We have a high tide at 11:34 a.m. . Low tide will be at 5:20 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.0 ft at 5 seconds from the SSW.
Our pals at NOAA predict, “The remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur will move through the central Carolinas tonight and Friday, then a cold front will drop through the area early Saturday”. Thus our future of surf is looking pretty lame and super small, so send it when ya can. Go grab that log of yours and make the most of it!
It’s 82* with sunshine mixed with clouds and rain for most of the day today, but lets hope that sun stays out and those vibes stay high folks!
