Good morning everybody, this is Luke with your surf report and Forecast for Thursday, June 20th  at 6:45 a.m.

Surf at Folly currently waist to shoulder high, it could continue to build as this offshore disturbance could better organize and enhance our current Easterly wind-swell. Its choppy and semi-drifty.

Winds are still pretty strong out of the Easterly direction. 15-25mph

We just came off a high tide. A low tide around 1:10 p.m., high tide to follow at 7:43 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is reading 5.9ft at 8 seconds from the E.

Surf again chest-shoulder high at the moment as strong high pressure settles offshore generating these Easterly winds for us.. Swell should peak later today into early tomorrow  well see what this system does offshore. Surf will hang on through the weekend just gradually dropping onshore winds persist and waist+ surf can be expected over the early weekend.  We have a 30% chance of tropical development heading our way over the next two days. Alberto was born yesterday in the Gulf of Mexico Hurricane season has kicked off.

The water temperature is hovering right around 80*.

It’s currently 78 and sunny. Showers moving in from the ocean mix of sun and clouds today high of 86*.

Sunrise 6:13 a.m., Sunset 8:31 p.m.
