Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, Sept 4th at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at Folly running knee-waist high looks super fun for a longboard. Long clean peelers at the pier.

Winds are light and variable this morning and should pick up light west south-west later today look for clean conditions throughout.

Tides coming in high will be at 12:25 p.m. Low tide will be at 6:33 p.m.,

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.9  feet at 11 seconds in medium period ESE groundswell.

Surf again is around knee-waist high great little longboard wave . High pressure does move back in over our marine area and things become more quite again early this week so expect a couple down days. Good news is it looks like Lee will develop in the eastern Caribbean and move our way over this week. Most models are currently expecting this system to be just east of the Bahamas by this time next week. A lot can change in the next 7 days with this system but models over the last 3 days haven’t changed one bit suggesting higher confidence.  Looking like significant ground-swell could be expected this weekend into early next week. Well keep you posted.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will persist across the region through late next week. A cold front could approach the area next weekend.”

 Water temperature is around 85*.

It’s 76 with clear skies no humidity* Look for a high of 85* with a mix of clouds. It feels great out.

Sunrise is at 6:55 a.m., and sunset will be at 7:43 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
