Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, March 3rd at 8:00 a.m.

Surf at the Pier this morning are ankle- Knee high sets and semi-clean.

Winds are light and variable currently.

Look for winds to pick up slightly out of the south later today putting some texture on the surf.

Low tide was at 11:48 this a.m. and high tide will be at 6:00 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is reading 2.0ft at 8 seconds in S swell.

Surf is down today as expected running around knee high. The surf continues to back off a bit until tonight. Monday looks like your best bet to surf for the entire work week. Look for surf in the knee-waist high range Monday before high pressure returns and makes itself comfortable providing nothing for our swell window mid-late next week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A stalled front will lift north as a warm front today. A cold front will then sweep through the area tonight, followed by a reinforcing cold front Tuesday night. High pressure will prevail for the latter half of the week. Another frontal system could impact the area next weekend.”

It’s 62* and cloudy/fog. Look for a high of 70* cloudy today with a thundershower later in the afternoon.

Water temperature is around 59*.

Sunrise is around 6:46 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:19 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
