Clean. Choppy this afternoon.
Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report for Monday, May 13th at 7:45 a.m.

Surf at Folly is Flat maybe a knee high slapper.
Currently winds are light and variable early clean conditions for now. Winds should pick up out of the south later this afternoon.
We had a low tide just before report time, a high tide at 1:09 p.m. Low tide at 6:58 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 2.3 foot at 9 seconds from the east north-east.
As mentioned its pretty small this morning, but looks to be a beautiful day at the beach. Expect waves to be pretty small getting the week started. Tuesday building conditions are expected with moderate/strong southerly winds will be blowing and beginning a building trend through the day. Expect choppy but fun waist+ surf. Weds the system moves out keep your eyes on the flags for a potential cleanup. Weve finally got some decent surf on the way.
Water temperature is hovering right around 73*, so spring suits and jackets are the call for mornings.
It’s currently 68* and sunny. Today we see a high of 78* and sunshine to start with rain moving in later.
