Surf at Folly is knee-thigh high and a bit choppy, winds are on it.
Currently winds are moderate out of the SSE 15mph
High tide at 11:19 a.m. We have a low tide at 5:24 p.m.,
The Edisto buoy is reading 2.3ft from the SE at 8 seconds
Surf is pretty small this morning. There is a small chance for a quick little wave later today with onshore flow overnight nothing significant but hopefully enough to get us wet. Not much else on the horizon
From NOAA: “A weak disturbance will move through the area this evening. Hot conditions expected for Sunday and Memorial Day. A cold front could bring impacts to the region Monday night into Tuesday.”
Water temperature is hovering right around 75*, so spring suits and jackets are the call for mornings.
It’s currently 74 and partly cloudy at the beach* Today we see a high of 85* and partly cloudy. Slight chance of rain in the late afternoon/early evening.
