Surf at The Washout this flat-to-knee high. It’s weak and side-shore.
Winds are north/north-east at 5 to 10.
Look for winds to continue north-east this morning at 5 to 10, going south-east at 15 to 20 this afternoon. Surf gets choppy this afternoon.
We just came off a high tide, and low tide will be at 1:53 p.m. The next high tide will be at 8:18 p.m.
Virtual buoy readings are showing 1.5 ft at 8 seconds in a medium-period south-east swell.
After a fun day of surf yesterday, surf looks pretty small until Thursday afternoon into Friday, as winds will come south-west ahead of a cold front, and pushes up a choppy, south-west wind wave in the waist to chest high range. We will keep you posted as the forecast develops.
