Surf at Folly this morning is knee-high, weak and soft at the morning’s high tide. Bring the log if you want to get wet.

Winds are from the north at 5 knots, and surf is looking pretty clean.

Look for winds from the south-east at 10 to 15 knots this afternoon, and surf should get choppy later today.

We have a had a high tide at 7:04 a.m., and a low tide will be at 1:12 p.m. The next high tide will be at 7:45 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 1.6 ft. at 12 seconds in a small, long-period south-east swell.

Surf Is knee-to-thigh high this morning. There is a low forming off our coastline, but it’s not looking to produce much for us as it heads north-east through mid-week. Looking ahead we could see some residual swell from as a tropical wave passes through out swell window, and high pressure moves to our east. Look for a bit bigger surf during the end of the work week, but not much to write home about. Also a few areas of interest just came off the north-west African Coast, heading west. We will see if the further develop over the now-very-warm Atlantic.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A weak trough of low pressure today will be replaced by weak Atlantic high pressure Tuesday through the much of week. A weak cold front could approach the region this weekend, then linger near the area into early next week.”

It’s 80* and mostly sunny. Look for a high of 86 with a 30% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

Water temperature is 86*.

Sunrise is at 6:54 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:44 p.m.
