Good morning everyone from Ocean Surf Shop, this is Whaler with your Monday, August 26th surf report and forecast.
Congratulations to our Team Riders in this past weekends Governors Cup SC State Championships!
Lots of Fall gear and Neoprene filling up the shop floor!!
Surf is ankle to maybe knee high looking weak and unfavorable this morning.
Winds are currently NE 10-15mph making for semi choppy conditions with a little drift.
We have a low tide at report time, High tide fills in at 2:33 p.m. Another low tide at 8:54 p.m.
Edisto buoy is reading 2.6 FT at 8 seconds from the SE
Surf has gone pretty flat as expected. Lots of high pressure over our marine area this week paired with a quite tropical atmosphere our forecast is pretty bleak. Lots of moisture looks to move off Africa later this week but models aren’t getting to excited about it. Pray for surf.
Its pretty overcast this morning a bit warmer than its been. Look for sun later today with a high of 84*
