Surf at The Washout is thigh-to-waist high.

Winds are south-east at 5 knots and surf zone is bumpy but surface conditions are clean.

Look for winds to increase south-east later this morning 10 to 15 knots, going south-west at 15 to 20 this afternoon as a cold front approaches the area. Surf gets choppy as the day wears on.

We see winds increase from the south/south-west this afternoon, making for bigger, choppy south wind swell today. Winds come strong from the west overnight tonight after a cold front passage, and surf drop and clean up some during the day on Tuesday. Surf falls out mid-week, but the beach weather should be really nice for the middle of next week. Should be a nice change after all the rain. We should see another storm system effect our area for the weekend, and south swell should pick up Saturday into Monday. We’ll keep you posted.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “A weak cold front will move through late tonight, followed by high pressure. A storm system could impact the area late in the week.”
