Surf at Folly looking fun this morning knee-waist high glass early. Fun for the logs and even higher Vol fishes.

Winds are light and variable early this morning providing glassy conditions. Look for winds to come from the SW later today around 12mph putting some texture to the surf.

Tide is high as of time of report and low tide will drop out at 2:11 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.0 feet at 8 seconds in a SE swell.

Surf is a bit better than expected this morning knee-waist high maybe even a plus set on this mornings high tide. Surf is glassy early on get on it if you can! Some small surf should linger around for us enough for the longboards this week. Thursday we should see a small increase in SSW wind-swell from a approaching cold front with a cleanup for Friday morning when winds rotate offshore.

The NOAA Marine Weather forecast for our area calls for: “High pressure will expand over the area through Thursday, before a cold front drops into the area on Friday. Another cold front could approach early next week.”

It’s 55 and overcast this morning. Look for a high of 66 degrees with sun returning later today.

Water temperature is 58*.
