Monday Jan 5th Pier
Good Friday morning everyone. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, January 5th, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. We have a little ridable log wave trying to crumble its way and connect to the inside, but, due to too much water from that higher tide it seems to fall just short of just that. The winds are blowing 5kt from the NE, so it is not adding too much texture to the line up early. Still could be a nice morning to take a high-volume board to get the cobwebs off and paddle some.
Come get those wetsuit needs before we are out and you are cold without any gear.
We are going into a high tide at 9:17 p.m. Tide is low at 3:23 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is showing 2.3 feet at 8 seconds from the East.
Our friends over at NOAA predict a: “High pressure will prevail across the region most of this week, bringing dry conditions and above normal temperatures. A cold front may bring showers and colder temperatures to our area next weekend”. So, look for some higher temps and a possible little wiggle wave for the logs!
Water temp is 53*, so booties and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.
It’s 54* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 62* and mostly sun today.
Sunrise was 7:23 a.m. Sunset 5:28 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
