Surf is looking pretty small this morning.
Currently winds are north-east at 10 mph. Winds forecasted to stay 10-15 mph east-north-east.
Low tide is at 11:16 a.m. High tide is at 5:02 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is currently reading 0.7ft at 8 seconds from the south-east.
Surf is mediocre at best today. Tuesday look for winds to begin coming from the south and rapidly increasing blowing up to gail force, surf is going to rapidly build again on Tuesday from an approaching system from our west. Unfortunately winds to look to turn westerly overnight Tuesday and blow pretty hard, so again hopefully we have some leftover swell on Wednesday morning. Doesn’t get super clean as wind stays a little more side shore.
NOAA Forecast: “High pressure will prevail today, before a strong storm system impacts the area tonight through Tuesday night. High pressure will briefly rebuild during the middle of the week, before the next system arrives Friday. High pressure should return later in the weekend.
Current water temp: 58*.
It’s a chilly 47* this morning with a high of 56* and cloudy to partly cloudy. Stormy weather on tap for Tuesday.
Sunrise is 7:22 a.m., Sunset 5:30 p.m.
That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
