Remembering Martin Luther King today!

Surf is about pretty flat maybe a knee high slapper if your desperate. Its clean.

Currently winds WNW 5-10mph today and the surf is clean.

High tide will be at 10:57 a.m., and low tide will be at 5:11 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 1.6ft at 8 seconds from the SE.

Surf is looking pretty bleak and our forecast is dormant. Our only real shot of a small pulse is Tuesday where a weak rotation just offshore our coast briefly creates some weak onshore flow. Other than that a massive high pressure just plops its butt right over us and keeps our surf down. Sorry Folks.

NOAA Forecast: “Low pressure could then impact the Southeast early next week, before high pressure prevails during the middle of next week. Another low pressure system could impact the area late next week before more high pressure returns next weekend.

Current water temp: 57*.

It’s 47* this morning and sun mixed with clouds We have a high of 64* with sun and wind this afternoon.

Sunrise is 7:22 a.m., Sunset 5:30 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
