Good morning this is Luke the koook with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Monday, January 22 at 8 a.m.

It’s still pretty flat, maybe a knee high set wave overall not worth it. Warm weather and surf on the way.

Currently winds are moderate out of the north-east semi clean conditions.

Low tide is approaching at 11:46 a.m. High tide will be at 5:40 p.m.,

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 2.6ft at 9 seconds in E swell.

Still looking pretty flat  but get your chores done, because starting late Tuesday through Saturday we expect high pressure to move off of the mid-Atlantic to the east and we should see a really nice Bermuda high pressure wind swell move into South Carolina’s Beaches. Winds will be moderate from the south, and air temperatures are forecast to get warm.

NOAA Forecast: “ High pressure will prevail today. A few upper level disturbances could move through during the middle of the week, followed by a cold front towards the end of the week.”

Current water temp: 51*.

It’s 36*  with sun this morning. Expect a high of only 57 with sun

Sunrise is 7:21 a.m., Sunset 5:38 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
