Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Monday, February 26th at 7:45 a.m.

We currently still have all our 4/3 wetsuits on sale, so come and get them while the weather is still cold! Always good to be ready to roll come next cold season too.

Surf at Folly is FLAT.

Winds are light and variable this morning clean conditions, look for winds to come SSW eventually 10-15mph putting some chop to the surface.

Todays tides, high tide at 9:20 a.m. Low tide will drop out at 3:08 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 2.0 feet at 8 seconds from the East

Surf is looking really flat  High pressure has returned over our general marine area and surf will be on the downside for the beginning of our work week. We have a system coming mid-late work week that will generate a shot of SSW wind-swell nothing great but enough to get us wet. Seeing thigh-belly high short period swell building on Weds with a cleanup overnight on Thursday.

The water temp is around 60*.

The NOAA Marine Forecast for our waters calls for: “ High pressure will prevail across the region into the middle of the week. The next cold front could affect the area Wednesday night, with high pressure to return late in the week. Unsettled weather could then impact the region over the weekend.”

It’s 45 and sunny. Look for a high of 63* and sunshine all day

Sunrise is 6:53 a.m., Sunset 6:12 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
