Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, January 30 at 7:30 a.m.

New Odysea boards have arrived at the shop, as well as men’s and women’s Reef and Rainbow sandals. Come check it out.

Surf at Folly picked up  a bit overnight showing knee-waist high and a sheet of glass.   

Winds are dead currently surf is nice and glassy.  

Winds should continue light and variable through the remainder of the day.

We have a low tide approaching at 9:24 a.m . High tide will fill in at 3:14 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.9 feet a 7 seconds in a medium period south-east swell.

Surf looks sort of fun this morning and the tide push late morning could continue its efforts. Waist high sets can be found. Mid-week the surf stays relatively down, a shot of NE swell will pass our shores mostly and hit Florida. Another low pressure looks to possibly push up another wave towards the end of next week we’ll keep you posted.

The NOAA Marine Weather forecast for our area calls for: “A storm system will impact the region today and into early Monday. Another storm system is possible towards the end of next week.”

It’s 55* and rainy this morning. Look for a high of 66* rain early will end later in the day with overall cloudy skies to finish the day.    

Water temperature, it’s 55*.

Sunrise is at 7:18 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:49 p.m.
