Semi-clean.

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Flat.
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Yes.
Dangers: None.

Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, July 19 at 8:30 a.m.

We have a new shipment of Gary Wilson boards in the shop. We also received some Torq boards. Come check them out.

Surf at the Washout this morning is flat.

Winds are west/south-west at 10 knots this morning. Surf zone is semi-clean.

Look for south-west winds at 5 to 10 knots today, and surf zone stays flat and bumpy.

We have a low tide at 9:50 a.m., and a high tide at 4:29 p.m.

Surf should stay small today, perhaps picking up just a bit from in a small knee-to-thigh high south-west wind swell on Tuesday. Surf looks small this week as a typical summer weather pattern keeps south-west wind swell in the forecast as a trough of low pressure sets up just inland, and Atlantic high pressure sits to our east. No major swell to mention on the horizon, and the tropics look quiet for a week to 10 days out.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “The area will remain between Atlantic high pressure and an inland trough through the weekend.”

It’s cloudy this morning and 79*. Look for a high of 82* today and cloudy skies with a high of 82*.

Water temperature is around 84*.

Sunrise is at 6:25 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:26 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
