Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday June 25 at 6:30 a.m.

Surf is still showing waist+ on this mornings low tide. Wind is on it out of the SW a bit more than yesterday putting some funk to it. Overall this mornings incoming tide could be fun.

Winds are moderate out of the south-west 10+mph . Look for south-west winds to increase in the afternoon hours 15-20mph.

We have a low tide at 8:15 a.m. high tide will fill in at 2:48 p.m. with another low concluding our day at 8:55 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 4.6 @11 seconds in long period ESE ground-swell.

Still looking decent this morning just a bit more wind on it, waist-belly high, look for gradual improvement once the tide swings around. I do think this is from former tropical storm Cindy and not Brett as the buoy data now showing much more east in the swell. Both Cindy and Brett are no longer with us as of this morning, both have dissipated. Surf should still hold its size until tomorrow afternoon. Look for a gradual fading trend Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Wednesday winds look to improve and come more northerly and offshore cleaning our leftovers up. Looking ahead the end of our week looks to stay down with a chance of decent trade-swell from a offshore high pressure for this weekend. Well keep you in da loop!

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “ A cold front will move through tonight, then high pressure will build in Tuesday through Friday. Several upper level disturbances could affect the area next weekend.”

Water temperature is around 80*

Its 78* plenty of sunshine  this morning. Temps will eventually climb to a high of 85* with sunshine persisting.

Sunrise is at 6:12 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:31 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
