Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, June 7 at 8:030 a.m.

Come check out the new line of Mick Fanning Softboards that just arrived, including a few DHD fish models.

Surf at Folly is thigh-to-waist high this morning.

Winds are south, south at 5-10 knots, and surf is bumpy, choppy and weak.  It’s certainly rideable on a higher volume board, but it’s not going off or anything.

Winds continue in from the south and increase 10 to 15 knots this afternoon. We see choppy surf at the higher tide late day.

Tide is going out. We have a low tide at 12:27 p.m., and a high tide at 6:25 p.m.

Surf is rideable but not great this morning. Probably best for the high-volume board. Winds trend south this week and keep small wind-swell in the forecast with overall choppy conditions. Small weak south swell should prevail through mid-week Not big, but likely rideable on the right gear.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather forecast calls for: “Atlantic high pressure will prevail through late week. A weak front could move into the region over the weekend.”

It’s 79* and cloudy at the beach. Look for a high of 81* mostly cloudy skies and a 20% chance of rain today.

Water temperature is around 79*.

Sunrise is at 6:11 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:26 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
