Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Monday, March 18th at 730 a.m.

New Gary Wilson boards just landed. We have really good stock and the prices are super reasonably priced. They are flying off the racks with the nice weather. Come see what’s new.

Wetsuits at the shop are marked down 20% both 3/2s and 4/3s come get em!

Surf is as FLAT as it gets.

Winds are light west this morning and will continue through today. Clean conditions.

We have a low tide at 10:05 a.m. High tide will be at 4:02 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 3.0ft at 4 seconds in a short period wind-swell from WSW moving away from shore..

Surf is down and unfortunately we don’t really any relief this work week. Late week into our weekend things get much more interesting. A high pressure looks to push off the NE coastline and begin to produce some onshore flow on Friday. Secondly, the moisture off the SE coast mentioned yesterday models have suddenly jumped on and now show a decent low developing off south Florida on Friday/Saturday. If the models stay the same you will not want to miss Saturday, its looking like it could shape up to one of those better days around Folly. Its still a ways out and things can change stay tuned for updates. But looks like surf is finally on the way.

The water temp is around 62*. It’s starting to warm up!

Its  60* degrees sun mixed with clouds, a bit chillier than other mornings lately. Look for a high of 67*

The NOAA Marine Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will build over the area today and prevail into Thursday. A storm system could impact the area late in the week.”

Sunrise is 7:26 a.m., Sunset 7:30 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
