It’s Monday, November 10. Bates here with your Ocean Surf Shop Surf report and Forecast.
Surf is super flat. Flat as the last political conversation you had with your uncles at Thanksgiving dinner.
Winds are west/north-west at 15 to 18 knots. Winds offshore hard today, with north-west winds at 20 to 25 knots. Small surf is on tap for today, and through mid-week.
High tide is 11:37 a.m., and the low tide follows at 5:56 p.m.
Wind wave height is 6 feet at 6 seconds moving west away from our beaches. Perhaps Rincon will be picking up a swell tomorrow.
Our friends over at NOAA predict that, “A strong cold front will move through tonight, bringing much colder conditions to the area this week. High pressure will build into the region through the remainder of the week.”
It’s looking like a very hard week of surf. With cold weather for Tuesday and Wednesday as an Arctic cold front and high pressure moves to our south over the next 36 hours. Late week into the weekend looks pretty dismal out there, so unfortunately I have no good news on the potential wave forecast.
It’s 50* and sunny this morning. It won’t get much warmer today with a high of 50* and sun.
Sunrise was 6:42 a.m. Sunset 5:23 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
