Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, Nov 20th at 8:00 a.m.

Surf at Folly Is knee to maybe thigh high, wind is still on it out of the NE so its still a bit choppy and drifty and not looking to great.

Winds moderate 10-20mph out of the NE making for drifty choppy conditions.

We just came off a Low tide before report time. High tide fills in 12:53

The Edisto Buoy is reading 4.3ft @10 seconds in E swell.

Surf again not looking to hot this Monday morning, We are expecting a front to move into our area and clock our winds around out of the south generating some localized south wind-swell for later Tuesday into Wednesday with a slight cleanup mid weds when winds are forecasted to swing offshore. This swell will taper off Wednesday afternoon.  Surf stays down on Thursday. Then dare I say we may have another Low moving out of the Northern Gulf on Friday into Saturday. Models have changed slightly a bit since yesterday still tons of moisture looking to exit the Gulf its something to watch for sure.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “High pressure will remain across the region early this week. A low pressure system and associated cold front will cross the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. High pressure should return Wednesday night into Thanksgiving. During the late week, a weak area of low pressure is expected to track across the region.”

Water temperature is starting to drop, it’s around 65*.

It’s 61* cloudy and windy. Look for a high of 69*, lots of sunshine today great fall beach weather.

Sunrise is at 6:52 a.m. Sunset is right at 5:17 p.m.
