Monday November 27th

Clean.

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Flat.
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Some.
Dangers: None.

Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, November 27th at 8:45 a.m.

Surf at Folly is FLAT, that low that passed through last night didn’t have near enough juice to push up any swell.

Winds are out of the west 10-20mph today making for clean surface conditions.

We have a high tide at report time, low tide will drop out at 1:59 P.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.9ft at 5 seconds in WNW wind-swell moving away from our shores.

Surf is still looking as flat as it gets! Not a ton of hope this work week. High pressure looks to take control keeping the surf down all work week. Friday into the weekend is our relief as a system moves in from the west generating some much needed onshore flow to kick the surf back up. We will keep you posted on that as we get closer.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “ High pressure will build into the area through tonight. A weak cold front will stall nearby during mid week, with high pressure to prevail until late in the week. The next frontal system should impact the region by Sunday.”

Water temperature is 60*. Bring your wetsuit.

It’s 48* and clouds mixed with sun. We see a high of 61* with sunshine returning.

Sunrise is at 6:58 a.m. Sunset is right at 5:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
