Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, November 29 at 8:30 a.m.

Surf at The Washout is ankle high and unrideable.

Winds are north/north-west at 12 knots, and surf zone is clean.

Look for increasing north winds today at 15 to 20. We see a semi-clean surf zone with a drift from north-to-south today.

We have a low tide at 8:55 a.m., and a high tide at 3 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.6 ft at 4 seconds in a north/north-west wind swell moving away from our beaches.

It is completely flat on Folly today. Unfortunately, it looks like we will have very small surf this week as high pressure sets up over our marine area. Not much to report for the next five days or so.

Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “High pressure will build into the area today and prevail into late week. A cold front and storm system could then impact the area this weekend and early next week.”

It’s currently 47* with sun this morning. Look for a high of 54* and sun the rest of the day.

Water temperature 57*.

Sunrise is at 7:02 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:13 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
