Good Monday morning everyone. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, December 29th at 9:20 a.m. The waves at the pier are subpar at best and look to be pretty wind blown and weak. With the SW winds cranking 10-15kt and occasional 20kt gust, the waves are blown to absolute crap and do not seem super appealing even for the higher volume vessels. If no other option is on the menu, then you do have the temp and sunshine on your side today but still not going to be the best time. Super drifty with little organization or power, sitting around the thigh high range at best.

Still that crazy rusty deal at the shop for $300 off any rusty in here and some neoprene left for last minute needs!

We are going into a high tide at 2:50 p.m. Tide is low at 9:05 p.m.  

The Edisto buoy is showing 5.2 ft. at 5 seconds in a short-period SSW wind swell.

Our friends over at NOAA predict: “A strong cold front will push offshore this afternoon. High pressure will then prevail for the remainder of the week. Another cold front could affect the area next weekend”. Let’s keep praying this provides for us starved senders.

Water temp is 53*, so booties and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.

It’s 61* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 64* and sun today.
