Weekly Wave Forecast

We should see building Lorenzo swell filling in this afternoon and should peak late Tuesday into Wednesday morning into the Shoulder high range. There will be some north-east winds on the swell early in the week. That swell and the wind fades some Wednesday and through the remainder of the work week. This Lorenzo swell will be very long period which means you may need to look around to see where its working. Late week we see strong cold front approaches and strong north/north-east wind-swell build, but most of it looks to pass our shores and head to Florida.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A weak cold front will cross the area from the north today. High pressure will then prevail through much of the week. Another cold front is expected to pass through the area late Friday, followed by cooler high pressure over the weekend.”
