Good morning! This is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, Spetember 21 at 9 a.m.

We have a large stock of wetsuit jackets here at the shop, and with a north-east wind swell moving in for mid-week, you’ll want to cut the wind.

Surf is knee to thigh high this morning. It has poor form as the tide is pretty low. It’s fairly clean.

Wind is from the north/north-east at 5 knots, and it’s very humid at the beach.

Winds will become NE 10-15mph keeping the temps cool near the coast.

We have a low tide at 10:02 a.m. . a high tide following  at 4:49 p.m.

Edisto Bouy 2.3 feet at 8 seconds from the east.

Surf is small at the lower tide this morning, but could see some better for with a thigh high set as the tide come in around noon. Nothing to write home about, so bring the log. Our next swell event comes mid-week as we see north-east wind swell/east ground swell combo behind a cold front passage scheduled to start on Wednesday. This will build into Thursday, and start dropping Friday and into the weekend. It will be drifty, so get your paddle arms on. It will build in size, so that will be a welcome change.

It is 80* but feels like 89 with no wind and humid as heck. Look for a high of 85* with a feels-like around 96* today. We see passing clouds all day.

Sunrise is 7:06 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:24 p.m.
